Every gram matters. Every second counts. The Supply Chain team is responsible for making sure the rarest materials, components - custom or otherwise, and precision tools move through the system without friction — and at volumes the world hasn’t attempted before; Think of lakhs of drones to be made in a single day

This isn’t just about sourcing parts. The processes we’re working with — for composites, tooling, and fabrication — are unconventional and constantly evolving. You’ll need to work with R&D, vendors, and manufacturing teams to solve problems no one has solved yet.

We’re not looking for procurement managers. We’re looking for systems thinkers, operational hackers, and people who love figuring out how to move matter at massive scale.

About Your Role; Problems To Solve

• Preventing material shortages: Ensure seamless availability of components and raw materials for R&D, composites and manufacturing by closely coordinating with the inventory team and implementing strong planning systems.
• De-risking the supply chain: Build diverse procurement channels to eliminate single-point dependencies and make the supply chain more resilient.
• Optimizing procurement costs: Secure the best possible deals by leveraging volume-based strategies and developing strategic vendor relationships.
• Building a digital, data-backed procurement system: Implement robust digital tools and systems to track procurement data, monitor vendor performance, and generate insights that drive smarter and faster decision-making
• Scaling the procurement/supply chain function: Build and structure a team that can grow in capability and capacity to match Airbound’s ambitious scaling trajectory

What We Are Looking For

• A proven track record of scaling supply chain functions in fast-growing companies, including managing teams and complex operational needs.
• A hands-on mindset—someone who isn’t afraid to get into the weeds, negotiate hard, and secure the best possible deals.
• Strong operational instincts with attention to detail and a bias for action in high-velocity, high-ownership environments.
• Experience in building and managing vendor relationships across international markets—especially sourcing from regions like China, US and the UK.
• Ability to develop and implement robust risk management strategies to ensure business continuity and address global supply chain disruptions.
